To champion an inclusive hiring process, we have collaborated with various UK charities such as Princes Trust, We Are Digital, and What You Know Digital. We have also joined forces with 55/Redefined to tackle ageism in advertising, read more here.
No matter what your background is, our aim is to ensure all individuals have the opportunity to start or change their careers with us.
Whether you are new to the working world or looking for a career change, our two age-focused internal employee networks are leading the way.
The VIZs (Very Important Gen Z’s) purpose is to improve various industry issues that affect the employee experience for Gen Z's by improving representation, communication, work-life balance, uninspiring work environments, and outdated policies and practices.
The age-inclusive initiative is dedicated to empowering individuals over 50 who are either long-standing members of the industry or those embarking on new career paths. By recognising the unique challenges they face, this network addresses ageism, skill gaps, and limited opportunities as well as celebrates the valuable soft and hard transferable skills, experiences and wisdom of those starting a new career journey.
By amplifying the voices of these talented groups, dentsu continues to create a supportive and inclusive work culture. With a focus on well-being, personal growth, and happiness, they create a dynamic and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and adaptability to all employees, especially the future leaders of our industry.

We equip the next generation with skills to succeed in the digital economy through The Code - our global flagship schools and early careers programme. The Code offers immersive workshops, work experience and apprenticeships to students from diverse backgrounds. They gain the technical, craft and strategic soft skills to thrive in digital marketing, working on real client briefs to tackle inclusion and sustainability challenges. Our goal is to empower 100,000 young people and provide 5,000 underrepresented individuals with meaningful work placements.

At dentsu, we are on a mission to unleash the boundless potential of our extraordinary team! We believe in fostering a vibrant environment of diverse minds, to help us solve our clients challenges. Through dynamic partnerships with diversity organisations, we create an inclusive workforce where every voice is celebrated.
